Amongst the political polarisation, unresolved conflict of a father and daughter and their island Cyprus are tangled into one as the family relationship and the inter-generational trauma is confronted in the Pink Moon season.
This is an underwater film speaking in the voices of the sea in Scottish Gaelic to reflect on the story of Gill Williams, the UK’s first female police underwater search unit sergeant who spent her life searching for the bodies of those who lost their lives. After retiring to the Isle of Skye in Scotland, Gill continued to get in the water to instead seek out living sea creatures with her camera.
