​Meray is a Cypriot filmmaker based in Scotland. She explores the human relationship with the land, water, environment and the political themes that emerge from them.

She worked with Portal Arts, Film Access Scotland, GMAC Film and Home For Cooperation in youth and community filmmaking for social justice, climate change and peacebuilding. 



Scottish Refugee Council Mentorship Programme

Cross Borders Arts programme supports the filmmaker for research and development of characters from migrant background in Scotland and the UK, exploring the ethics of telling such stories.  


Romano Lav Catalysts Programme

Delivery of filmmaking workshops to young Roma people, telling their personal experiences of racism in Scotland exploring documentary and fiction genres.


Prince's Trust

Delivery of filmmaking workshops to young people at Prince's Trust, introduction to filmmaking, storytelling and editing to produce short films as part of their programme.
